Charles Vander Velden, a 2019 graduate of Pella High School, became the first registered apprentice through the Career Academy of Pella, part of a new and expanding work-based educational program in Marion County.

For college students, coffee is king. Local coffee shops and Central’s Global Café make it easy for students to get a much-needed caffeine fix.
Pella’s town square, just a short walk from Central, is home to numerous shops, boutiques and unique experiences.
The Prairie Meadows Legacy Grant program has awarded Central College $100,000 toward the continued renovation of Douwstra Auditorium.
