It is with great sadness that the Central College community mourns the passing of Robert “Bob” Vermeer, a 1966 Central graduate and trustee emeritus, after a battle with cancer.

Central received a generous gift of more than $100,000 from the estate of Tommi Hay Boeder, a former employee and 1974 graduate of the college who went on to become an ordained minister.
Support of Central College and its students continues to be strong, evidenced this week by the generosity of alumni and friends who donated during Giving Tuesday.
