Maytag Foundation Recognizes Family Friend and Mentor With Donation to Central College

The Fred Maytag Family Foundation is donating $2.25 million to Central College to fund an annual full-ride scholarship program for multiple students from Iowa pursuing a career in a STEM-related field. The donation also will fund scientific instrumentation needs at the college.

$550K Gift Supports Further Renovations to Central’s Maytag Student Center

Following a $3.125 million gift to Central College two years ago, the Fred Maytag Family Foundation has awarded Central an additional $550,000 for further renovations to the Maytag Student Center. The grant also includes annual support for student scholarships through the Journey Scholarship Fund.
