“The Mathematics Enthusiast” published an article prepared by Central College’s Russ Goodman, professor of mathematics and assistant women’s soccer coach, and Katelin Valster, lecturer of kinesiology and S.A.A.C. advisor.
Spring schedules will be announced soon for Central’s four postponed fall sports.
Central College student Katelyn Wang has been named a 2020 Goldwater Scholar in a prestigious national competition that recognizes undergraduates for outstanding achievements in the fields of mathematics, science and engineering.
Central’s exercise science department partners with a medical device maker and Henry Ford Hospital to explore new technologies to enhance athlete safety.
Phase one of the project includes seating at midfield that will consist of stadium seating and limestone terraces for spectator seats. It will also provide funding for ADA seats, stairs, relocation of a utility pole and ADA access to the field.
In celebration of the 2012 Homecoming/Family Weekend, Central College welcomes alumni, family and friends to campus Sept. 28-30. Over the weekend, visitors are invited to join in activities, enjoy performances, watch athletic events and catch up with classmates.
