Central College’s Journey Together: 48-Hour Challenge surpassed its goal, raising more than $189,000 for students last week.
Central College will receive a generous gift of $500,000 from Paul Poppen, a 1969 Central graduate, to establish the Poppen Fund for Social Justice Programs and the Poppen Diversity Scholarship.

Central set a new fundraising record during its fifth-annual Hoo-Rah Day April 13. In total, the college raised $343,217 to help support scholarships and programs.
Central College students, employees, alumni, family and friends are invited to participate in the 53-Mile Challenge from March 1 to April 13. The challenge encourages the Central community to practice a healthy lifestyle through movement.
