Central College has announced changes to its board of trustees, including the addition of four new members and the retirement of two others.
Lori Witt, associate professor of history, has been appointed to the State Historical Society of Iowa board of trustees.
More than 300 middle and high school students from central Iowa will compete at the regional History Day competition held April 2 at Central College.
Either individually or as a group, participating students create a documentary, exhibit, paper, performance or website about a historical event, person, issue or idea related to an annual theme. The 2012 theme is “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.”
