Central College Awarded $500,000 Annual Grant for Federal TRIO Talent Search Program

Central was awarded two Upward Bound grants to support income-eligible, first generation Central students.
Kristin Lewis has been named director of pre-college programs at Central College. She oversees Central’s Talent Search, Upward Bound I and Upward Bound II.
Central College will receive five more years of funding from the U.S. Department of Education for the college’s Talent Search program.
Central College was selected to receive funding under the U.S. Department of Education TRIO Student Support Services program.
