Master Glassblower Ed Schmid will be in residence at Central College March 24-28. His glass artwork will be displayed in the Mills Gallery on campus beginning March 27 through April 19.
The semester’s second exhibit in the Mills Gallery, featuring alumni of the glassblowing program who continue to work in the medium, will open Sept. 19. The exhibition is in celebration of the renovation of the glass studio last year.
The Central art department has added new and updated equipment to three of its popular programs, generating positive responses from art students.
