This October, Central College will host chamber music, Caribbean rock, “inclusive, classical informances” and more.
The first two weekends of December are filled with concerts, from Handel’s “Messiah” and A Cappella Choir classics to jazz combos and carols with a Caribbean twist.
Central College Percussion Ensemble and the Flying Pans Steel Band will join together to present a one-night Percussion Extravaganza.
Central College hosts the Fringe Festival, a four-day event produced by students and including theater acts, music, dramatic readings, comedy acts and cultural events.
Central’s College Community Choir, Flying Pans Steel Band and Jazz Band will perform in April.

Central College is known in the Pella community and throughout Iowa for its exemplary music program, which allows majors and non-majors alike to participate in 18 vocal and instrumental ensembles. During the spring semester Central students will host a variety of concerts on campus and in Pella.
As the holiday season approaches, Central College celebrates with various musical concerts to ring in the season.
