Central College welcomes storyteller, actor, playwright, author and essayist Kevin Kling as the featured author in the Writers Reading series Feb. 20 and in his one-man show “Breakin’ Hearts & Takin’ Names” Feb. 22.
Theatre Central will host four performances of Karen Zacarias’s “Legacy of Light” Nov. 20-23 in the Kruidenier Center at Central College. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Fringe Festival brought together students in the performing arts to showcase their talents all over campus for a week. The result was zombie plays, lip sync acts and boat races on the Pond.
The production of “Guys and Dolls” is a joint effort between Theatre Central and the Central music department. Theatre majors and minors are collaborating with a wide spectrum of the student body, including the Central College Chamber Singers, to bring the production to life.
Ann Wilkinson, instructor of theatre at Central College, has led an unpredictable life. By saying yes to opportunities placed in front of her, she made a name for herself in Los Angeles before finding her way to Pella.
