Central College will welcome alumni, family and friends to campus as it hosts the 2011 Homecoming/Family Weekend Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. From Friday to Sunday, guests are invited to participate in campus activities, watch athletic events and reconnect with former classmates.

Central College welcomes Dr. Tom Boat, a 1961 alumnus of Central College, as this year’s commencement speaker. Executive associate dean of clinical affairs for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and CEO of the University of Cincinnati physicians, Boat will receive a Doctor of Science honorary degree before he addresses the class of 2011 at commencement, Saturday, May 14, at H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse at 2 p.m.
Trenton Blythe, a 2008 Central College graduate, joins Central’s alumni relations office as an assistant director.
