Central College and the University of Iowa have formed a new partnership that will streamline the process for Central students to be admitted to the Master of Science in Finance program in the university’s Tippie College of Business.
The Society of Actuaries has again certified Central College for all three Validation by Educational Experience areas—Economics, Accounting and Finance, and Mathematical Statistics.
Amanda Dunkin ’14 found her niche after double majoring in actuarial science and economics and interning with Transamerica in Cedar Rapids.
More than 150 students and 40 employers participated in this year’s Internship Fair, which connected students with potential internships and offered networking for all.
