The Central College Flying Pans Steel Drum Band, directed by Stan Dahl, assistant professor of music, will perform its annual Caribbean Christmas concert Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Graham Conference Center. The concert will be a fundraiser for the charity Toys for Tots.
Caribbean Christmas is a “warmer” holiday concert, with no hats or mittens required. It will feature holiday music and fun for the entire family, including a possible visit from Santa Claus.
The band will perform traditional Christmas carols with a Caribbean twist, including “O Holy Night,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “Feliz Navidad.”
Admission for the event is $5 or a new unwrapped toy.
