Author and speaker Mary Stier will be at Central College on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall. Her talk, entitled “Lady Leader,” will focus on the unique gifts women bring to leadership positions.
Stier’s presentation will be based off insights from her book, “Lady Leader.” She will take the audience through the ways women can maximize their leadership strengths for personal and professional growth in an age where an unprecedented number of women hold leadership positions.
The talk will be followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Mary Strey, vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty. Audience members are welcome to submit questions at the end of the presentation.
Following the question-and-answer session, “Lady Leader” will be available for purchase, and Stier will sign books at that time.
The event is free and open to the public, though women will find the presentation especially meaningful. For more information, contact Ardie Sutphen at 641-628-5269.
