Central College will hold a dinner with wine pairings featuring Australian cuisine March 28.
Attendants will learn about Australian wines while enjoying the “barby.” The appetizer will feature grilled lemon garlic prawns on zucchini cakes followed by a cos and rocket salad with sauce gribiche and Australian damper bread. The entrée includes macadamia/herb crusted prime rib with horseradish cream sauce and mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. There will also be a cheese course featuring an array of Australian cheese and pavlova for dessert. There will be a choice of wine or beer with dinner.
The event will be held in the Dave and Ardith Sutphen Common Room in the Graham Annex at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $40 per person and reservations are needed by March 26.
