Central College theatre presents “Rabbit Hole”

November 10, 2014

Rabbit Hole smallThe Pulitzer Prize-winning drama “Rabbit Hole” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19–22 in Kruidenier Theatre. This funny and heartbreaking play delves into how people grieve through laughter, anger, tears and the gamut of human emotions. Tickets may be purchased at Maytag Student Center, by calling 641-628-9000 or at the door.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students (Central students, faculty and staff can attend free with ID).

Rabbit Hole is recommended for mature audiences due to adult language and subject matter. The play centers on Becca and Howie Corbett, who have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. “Rabbit Hole” charts the characters’ bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places — and a path that will lead them back into the light of day.

In February, Central’s theatre department will present Shakespeare’s most popular comedy, “The Taming of the Shrew.” The show will run Feb. 25–28 in Kruidenier Theatre.
