Tim Meyer ’70, retired insurance and financial advisor, and his partner, Pam Goschke, were named the Iowa Outstanding Tree Farmers of the Year. Meyer was honored in October during the Iowa Tree Farmer of the Year Forestry Field Day on Meyer’s tree farm in Davis County. The Meyer Tree Farm has hosted two forestry field days. Meyer currently serves as vice-president of Iowa Woodland Owners Association and advocates for the Forest Reserve Program. Read more Iowa State Extension.
