Russ Benedict, professor of biology, will receive the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation’s Lawrence and Eula Hagie Heritage Award. Benedict, a conservationist dedicated to creative visions of a sustainable future and a prolific community-builder, welcomes the INHF to Carlson-Kuyper Field Station Sunday, Oct. 5, for the award celebration.
