The Des Moines Register featured Leo Bird ’14 with his immersive art exhibit, “Where’s my buddy?” an adaptation from his drawing of Central College’s cafeteria. He carved out planks of wood into shapes of people, painted them and set them in seats at a table to simulate the experience of what it was like to find somewhere to sit at lunch in college. Bird has also been selected to display his art in the Johnston Public Library, from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30.
