Bill Plein ’80, was inducted into the Notre Dame High School Hall of Fame for his work as the Burlington, Iowa, high school wrestling coach. Plein, a member of the Iowa High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, led the 2022 and 2025 ND-WB boys wrestling teams to state championships and the 2023 team to a state runner-up finish.
