Alex Hale ’18, gained one-in-a-million stats earlier this year. After registering as a stem cell donor through the National Marrow Donor Program seven years ago, Hale was deemed a non-familial match for an individual with cancer to donate his stem cells. Hale originally registered with the NMDR, known then as Be the Change, along with other members of the Central College football team. He currently serves as the assistant athletic trainer at Indian Hills Community College. Read More at Ottumwa Post.
