How many of us have driven to U.S. Highway 163 past Eddyville and wondered, “Just what does Cargill do?” The Cargill Eddyville plant creates food ingredients for products “working to feed the world.” Its 2,000-acre campus is one of the largest food ingredients operations across the country. Seekamp and Bloomquist will share some insight on what all goes on in the plant.

Seekamp is a quality assurance specialist in the utilities department (water, boiler and wastewater). She graduated from Central in 2006 and majored in chemistry and art. She lives in Pella with her husband, two kids and three dogs.

Bloomquist is a 2011 graduate of Central who majored in exercise science/athletic training. He is the production technician in the utilities department and is currently a member of the Site Safety Committee and the Implementation Task Force.
