Coach Joe Ehrmann, professional speaker and former professional football player, will host a series of engagements at Central College on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Founder of Coach for America, Ehrmann presents keynotes, workshops and seminars around the country. He leads training for coaches, athletic teams, educators, corporate groups and community organizations.
Ehrmann’s instruction is guided by his theory of inside-out coaching. Based on researched techniques from neuroscience, Ehrmann and wife Paula have designed a life coaching program stemming from the understanding that meaningful change begins on the inside and works its way out.
Ehrmann’s schedule begins in the Graham Conference Center with a seminar for coaches titled “Inside-Out Coaching” from 8:30-11:30 a.m. All coaches from Central and the Pella community are welcome to attend. At noon, Ehrmann will host a luncheon at Pella Corp. for employees and guests. The final event, a presentation in Douwstra Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., is open to the public. Ehrmann’s message focuses on healthy relationships and the role of men and women in society.
Cost for lunch is six dollars, and guests should arrive early. Parking and seating will be limited. Other engagements are free of charge. For more information, contact Jeffy Schuring at schuringj@central.edu or 641-628-5226.
