Central College’s Central RED Society will present “What Legacy Are You Leaving?” with Jann Freed during a virtual event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 25.
Legacy work is one of the main components of becoming sage, consciously aging in a graceful way, and is part of living a positive and fulfilling life. We are all leaving a legacy, and it can be positive or negative. It is never too early or too late to start thinking about living a life that matters.
Freed, a 1977 graduate, is professor of business emerita at Central. After 30 years of college teaching, she left to become a senior consultant with the organizational development firm Genysys Group. Freed also is an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, director for the Bank Iowa Board and a member of several community organizations, including Eat Greater Des Moines, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Iowa and Women United of United Way of Iowa.
Membership in Central RED is required to attend, and a Zoom link will be emailed to members.
