Central RED Society will present wildlife photographer Ron Huelse on Thursday, April 25, in the Dave and Ardie Sutphen Common Room in the Graham Annex at Central College in Pella, Iowa. There will be a lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a presentation to follow at noon. Cost is $10.
Huelse, a photographer from Knoxville, Iowa, has been taking photos of wildlife for more than 15 years. His work has been featured in Iowa Outdoor Magazine and in Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation publications. “The Red Rock area is second to none for water, recreation and wildlife photography,” Huelse says. He will explain how he captures wildlife and nature and share some of his stunning images.
Participants must be a member of the Central RED (“Ready to Engage and Discover”) Society to attend. A Central RED membership costs $25 per year. To become a member, contact Mary Benedict at firstname.lastname@example.org or 641-628-7641. No affiliation with Central College is required to join.
