Central College invites college-bound high school students to visit Central College in Pella, Iowa, for Discover Central Visit Days July 18, 19 and 20, to experience college life firsthand.
The free event is a chance for students to:
- Meet Central’s faculty.
- Tour the college’s state-of-the-art classrooms and learning labs.
- Check out the residence halls.
- Preview the college’s academic offerings.
- Grab a meal in the dining hall.
“The best way to find out how a college fits you is to visit,” says Chevy Freiburger, Central’s director of admission. “Our students always say one of the best things about Central is our network of caring relationships—from faculty and staff to students and alumni. Visiting campus is the best way to experience firsthand what it means to be part of the Central family.”
The event is open to all high school students who register in advance by calling 641-628-7616 or signing up online at www.central.edu/visit. Students may bring a friend and/or their parents.
Participating students and their guests will also get a campus tour, an opportunity to meet Central students and alumni and complimentary lunch. In addition, students will have the ability to hear from alumni and faculty panels and learn about Central’s rigorous academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, athletics and residence life. Participants can choose to attend on whatever day is convenient for them.
