Central College has been awarded the 2016 Educational Fundraising Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for exceptional development programs. Central was selected for the award based on judges’ analysis of three years of fundraising data provided to the Council for Aid to Education. The college was named best overall for private liberal arts institutions with endowments under $100 million.
“We are honored to have been selected for this recognition earned by our generous donors,” said Sunny Eighmy, interim vice president for advancement. “We are deeply grateful for the financial support Central has received, which has been in alignment with our academic strategic plan and funding priorities.”
CASE and its predecessor organizations have recognized exceptional development programs every year since 1959. In selecting Overall Fundraising Performance winners, judges examine many factors to recognize institutions that show solid program growth, breadth of support and other indications of a mature, well-maintained program.
