Cardiologist Michael Main will present “Cardiovascular Care of College Student-Athletes” Oct. 20 at Central College. The event is free and open to the public at 7 p.m. in Cox-Snow Recital Hall.
Main, Central College trustee and 1987 graduate, is professor of medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and medical director of the Cardiovascular Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City. He is author and co-author of more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
