Central’s internship networking fair drew record attendance Oct. 18, connecting students with 52 regional employers — including representatives from Pella Corporation, Pella Regional Health Center, Vermeer Corporation, Aerotek, Blank Park Zoo, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and many other Iowa organizations.
Representatives said Central students came well prepared, with resumes and background knowledge of their companies and organizations.
“I was impressed by the traffic of students and their initiative to dress professionally and ask good questions,” said Stacia Deutsch, human resources liason for Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. “I’m looking forward to having some Central students in our internship program this coming summer.”
