Iowa Campus Compact has named Central College President Mark Putnam to its board of directors. Putnam will serve a three-year term, helping the nine-member board set direction and vision for the statewide association.
Iowa Campus Compact, founded in 2003, unites college and university presidents committed to fulfilling the civic purposes of higher education. The organization’s goal is to “strengthen the capacity of member colleges and universities to prepare all students to become engaged citizens.”
