Central College alumnus Zach Benson danced his way on to the Fox reality television show, “So You Think You Can Dance,” which attracts talented dancers from all over the country skilled in styles ranging from hip-hop to ballroom. Thousands compete in a bid to be voted America’s favorite dancer.
At 19, Benson started his first break dancing crew in Pella, now known as Rabid Pandas Crew. After graduating in 2008, he spent a year with Mission Year, an organization that takes volunteers on a yearlong urban ministry program focused on Christian service. He also spent time in Korea teaching English and now lives in the Des Moines area.
