Kevin Johnson ’99, middle school language arts teacher in Lynnville-Sully Community School District, will receive a one of nine national 9/11 Tribute Center’s Teacher Awards. The honor is given to teachers who have created ways for students to comprehend the implications of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. In Johnson’s class, this was accomplished through Skype interviews with firsthand witnesses.
