Gabriel Espinosa, associate professor of music, recently performed in Tucson, Ariz., with instrumentalist and composer Hendrik Meurkens. AXS contributor Mary Andrews said Meurkens and Espinosa, who also collaborated on Espinosa’s recent album, “Samba Little Samba,” created “the sweetest sounds this side of heaven!”
