Dennis Den Hartog ’73 Receives Quilt of Valor for Service

Dennis De Hartog ’73 was  honored with a Quilt of Valor July 30 during a Prairie Days presentation in recognition of, and honor for, service to our country. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1966 and served in the Security Service branch for four years during the Vietnam Era. Twenty-three men were give quilts created by Deb Elrod of Monroe and Marilyn Samson and Marcia Grimm of Prairie City. Read more at the Newton Daily News.
