Central College recognized 249 graduates during Commencement 2025 ceremony on May 10, in Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium on Central’s campus.
Adam Gregg, a 2006 Central graduate, delivered the Commencement address. Gregg, now president and CEO of Iowa Bankers Association, encouraged graduates to embrace both success and failure as part of the journey. “Don’t be afraid to try and fail,” he said. “That failure may be the nudge from God to put you on the right path to fulfill your destiny. There will be an upside — personal growth, professional opportunities and expanded horizons.”
In recognition of his service and leadership, Central awarded Gregg the honorary Doctor of Public Service degree.
